While completing my specialization in Telemedia Production, I interned at the Media Arts Center San Diego, a non-profit organization that aims to inspire young minds through the media arts. During my time there, I had a hands-on experience in all things videography. I also created graphic assets for some of their Cajon Valley Union School District videos.
Software used: Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Illustrator CC and Photoshop CC
For this video, I practiced editing testimonials and B-roll together using clips from Meridian Elementary School's "Building Day" event.
The concept art and mood boards shown were initially created as a branding concept for MACSD's partnership with Speak City Heights, an online news platform that focuses on giving a voice to the City Heights community through video. I wanted my internship site to be unique from the rest of the news outlets sharing the website and highlight its mission of being a youthful and creative company for the San Diego community.  However, I was instead launched into a new phase of my internship, which was collaborating on informational videos for the parents of the Cajon Valley Union School District.
